Our athletic teams are known for their Independent School League and New England titles.
We're undeniably home to some of the best athletes in Massachusetts, many of whom go on from Governor's to play on nationally ranked college teams.
But these same powerful athletes also write for our literary magazine, perform in our musicals, and take top academic honors.
At Governor's, it's always been understood that none of us can be defined by a single quality.

We always save intense competition for the field. Read More...
It's part of the energy and spirit that brings Governor's together.
But along with competitive success, our teams reflect Governor's strong character and community, as members win with class and support each other on and off the field.
We teach that "strength" has many meanings. The vital courage to try something for the first time and give it your all is always as respected as the ability to win a championship.
