Athletics: Strength

Our athletic teams are known for their Independent School League and New England titles.

We're undeniably home to some of the best athletes in Massachusetts, many of whom go on from Governor's to play on nationally ranked college teams.

But these same powerful athletes also write for our literary magazine, perform in our musicals, and take top academic honors.

At Governor's, it's always been understood that none of us can be defined by a single quality.

Our Teams.

We always save intense competition for the field.

More than 25 Governor's grads in the last three years have earned athletic scholarships to Division I schools.

Governor's athletic facilities rival those at many small colleges or universities. These include a multi-level fitness center, turf and natural grass fields, tennis and basketball courts, a ropes course, a wrestling room, a golf course, a challenging cross country trail, and one of the premier ice arenas in the country.
